End Of The Year MP Striker
Celebration A Big Hit
|
|
Over 120 players, parents, siblings,
coaches and our visiting Dutch coaches
from the Hoek Camp enjoyed a great, MP
Striker club wide event at the Mountain
Terraces in Woodside. The huge lawn area
in the back was a hit for the over 50
kids to play and run. There were MANY
smiling faces to be seen during the sack
races, three legged races, and soccer
games. The kids were especially
attentive and enthusiastic when they
were handed out items from the raffle
where every child present received at
least one item such as jerseys (from
English Premiere league, AJAX and
others), soccer balls, goalie gloves, T
Shirts, MLS Posters, AJAX pins and
stickers and signed photo cards, hacky
sacks, Earthquake backpacks, and more.
Most of all, it was great to see all the
families in the Striker club integrate
together as one unit.
We look forward to using this venue
again soon for another club wide event.
Special thanks to Jeanine Morgan, Juliet
Wilson and Tom Sweeney for helping make
this event come together. Many more to
come!
